Company directors comprises of representatives from the private, academic, civil society and the citizen sectors who voluntarity work for the benefits of the community and society.
Directors should be at least 5 not exceeding 10 persons with general practiced terms of period as with other companies, i.e. 2 years in each term with directors rotation of 1 in 3.
As with other start-up companies, the legal capital requirement would be around 1-5 Million Baht in order to sufficiently cover the initial costs, such as rental, salaries and operations etc. prior to revenue in-take and being self sustainable.
Pracharth Rak Samakkee Co., Ltd. business operations is to support the community in strengthening the community's products and/or services and growing the income for households through the locality's existing agro-business, processed goods and local tourism. Pracharath Rak Samakkee Co., Ltd. will retain a certain percentage of profit-sharing from the incremental income, as agreed with the community, to fund further support activities.
There is no benchmarks on the percentage amount of profit-sharing, however the majority of the revenue should belong to the community with only a small percentage share-cuts to Pracharath Rak Samakkee Co., Ltd. to fund further supporting activities. The profit-sharing amount should be approximately 5%-10% and should not exceed 20%, depending on the agreement between each community and the company.
The community will be supported in the development of 5 topic areas:
ACCESS TO PRODUCTION FACTORS - support in making good business plans and contacts with appropriate financial institutions as well as sources of good quality seeds .GENERATE INCOME FROM EXISTING COMMUNITY'S KNOWLEDGE - develop stories to enhance interests to the community's products and attractions, as well as promote the benefits of community goods and certification of standards, including registration of intellectual property. MARKETING - supports in product development and packaging design to meet market needs and provide networking linkages for the provincial Pracharath Rak Samakkee companies nationwide. Boost brand building, expand distribution channels and stimulate consumers' needs through the Pracharath Rak Samakkee companies nationwide network and communication support. BUILD SUSTAINABLE AWARENESS through various PR channels to create understanding, pride, support and interests to purchase the community's products. MANAGEMENT - supports in the fundamental management system and processs to help the community in accounting ,cost management and risk management.
